My Top Ten

I got tagged by Adam. He says that I watch more movies then anybody he knows, which is probably true because I am a huge movie fan. I watch a movie nearly every night before I go to bed. Plus I work at a movie theatre, so it makes sense to love movies, eh? I love all types of movies; Comedy, Drama, Horror, Romance, Musicals, anything. (If anybody wants to buy me a Netflix subscription, I would love you forever.) This is extremely hard for me to choose only 10 as my favorites, since my favorites really depend on my mood. I’ll try my best. Here are my top ten movies, in no particular order:

1- You’ve Got Mail: I could watch this movie again & again and I wouldn’t get bored with it. Watch this with me, and you will be extremely annoyed because I know every single line & so I tend to quote the entire movie.

2-Home Alone: I am in love with this movie. My sister hates it because I love to watch it all year ’round, even if it is a Christmas movie.

3-Juno: The first time I saw this movie I was like “That was weird, but I liked it” then as I thought about the movie more, I liked it even more. There are so many excellent scenes in this movie. I love the humor & the music.

4- Dirty Dancing: I finally own this movie. My mom didn’t let me until this past Christmas (she said I had to be 18, which is an improvement from Tonia who didn’t get her copy until she was about 28).

5- Walk The Line: I fell in love with this movie as soon as I saw it. I think that my favorite line is when Elvis says “want some chili fries?” Ha! Excellent :)

6- National Treasure: This is a long movie, and it isn’t one that I can watch unless I am in the mood to sit down & pay attention. I love it though, and it is one of the few movies where I loved the sequel as much as the first.

7- She’s The Man: I love Amanda Bynes. This movie is just plain cute.

8- Hairspray: Oh boy. Musical & Zac Efron (I don’t like him in HSM, but he is gorgeous in Hairspray). I love the songs, dances & outfits in this movie. I want to dress & dance like them.

9- While You Were Sleeping:This movie is much like You’ve Got Mail for me, it’s a movie that I can watch over & over again and not get sick of it. “Mary mashed them”

10- The Princess Bride: So this is my goal in life. On my first date with my future husband, we will watch this movie. Then when he tells me that he loves me, instead of saying “I love you” he will reply to something that I say with “As you wish.” and stare lovingly into my eyes.

Wow…that was pretty hard.

I don’t know if anybody actually reads my blog, but since I’m putting this on Facebook/MySpace too, I’m tagging

The rules of the “game” are simple:
1. List your top ten favorite films (in no particular order).
2. If you’re tagged, you’ve got to post and tag 3-5 other people.
3. Give a tag back (some link love) to the one who tagged you in your post
4. Give a hat tip (HT) to Dan

[...] Tonight, we watched The Ring & now we’re watching The Ring Two. If we’re up to it, we’ll probably watch Disturbia after, because Nicole hasn’t seen it…and it is an amazing movie.  Actually, I feel like it should be part of my Top Ten. [...]
